Inauguration of our Non-Formal Education Center in Nilakanthapur

We are excited to announce the inauguration of our Non-Formal Education Center in Nilakanthapur Sasan village, Dhenkanal, which took place on November 10th, led by Dr. Prof. Toby Cumberbatch.

This center aims to bridge the language barrier for tribal children who only speak their native tribal language -“Ho,” enabling them to learn in Odia and access primary education.

Our initiative is a pilot implementation of the Sankofa curriculum project, focusing on teaching STEM concepts using local resources. This is a significant step towards empowering these children, who face daily challenges such as human-elephant conflict, lack of drinking water, inadequate electricity, and malnutrition.

Together, we can make a difference in their lives and foster a brighter future for the community.
