CIVIL 20 Working Committee Sumit under G20 India

Honoured to participate on behalf of AASHRAA FOUNDATION ODISHA in the CIVIL 20 Working Committee Sumit under G20 India held at KIIT University.

Being a grassroot NGO, we face challenges in implementing current policies and understand the problems faced by the weaker sections on our society living in slums.

In this international platform we got an opportunity to express our views and experience on gender equality and disability to the committee, so that the problems of the vulnerable people can be heard threw us.

We are excited to share that AASHRAA FOUNDATION ODISHA recently participated in the C20 Education & Digital Transformation Summit, held at Hyatt Regency in Trivandrum, Kerala, India. The summit brought together experts from around the world to discuss policy recommendations for sub-themes covered by the Education & Digital Transformation Working Group.

We participated in breakout sessions, which included representatives from local and international civil society organizations, UN agencies, government representatives, academics, other G20 Engagement Groups, and C20 Working Groups.

Our organization contributed to policy recommendations in the sub-theme of Learning Equity & Emerging Technologies and Education in Emergencies.

We are feeling proud as we are the only organization from odisha to have the opportunity to collaborate with experts from around the world and contribute to policy recommendations that will help improve education and digital transformation globally.
